What a wonderful wine. Dark and deep, with blackberries and black currants. A hint of plum too. More like a cabernet. Nice tannins and acidity leads to a really long finish. Tasted multiple times with similar results.

Wonderful light nose of cherry and oak/vanilla, earth notes. Great texture on palate, smooth, lots of fruit. Medium length finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
