Bright crimson in color, with aromas of red fruit, cherry kirsch, and spice, the palate delivers cherry cola and cinnamon on the palate with a long cherry finish. Silky on the tongue and very enjoyable on its own, this wine would best be suited for lighter fare.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
