An elegant and earthy nose of tobacco, spice and some muted red fruits; a familiar and welcome note of "pinot funk". Medium weight with some firm and slightly dry tannins, fruit is discreet so could use some time to work itself out.

There's a sweet, sappy and extracted smell intermingled with menthol that makes for an interesting nose. In the mouth; a big, chewy and full wine that finishes with a little bit of funk and musk. Not a lot of finesse or layers of complexity, but nevertheless a wine that will appeal to fans of pinot noir that can hold up to a steak.
