Tasted On 05/14/2009

nice nose of typical, clean alsacian fruit. palette was kind of unbalanced and wacky. tasted like some minerals, gravel, with some oily waxiness. Springy and wild, but not in so much of a good way.

I found this useful: Yes | No

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
