As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Our 2006 Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel is very soft and rich, although enough tannins and acidity to keep good structure. Dominated by dark fruits like plum and blackberry, there is also chocolate and licorice combined with Asian spice and a sweet\smokiness.\ Garnet red in color with mild tannins, the 2006 is a real fruit bomb that is elegant and very balanced.\Drinkable now with lots of potential.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
