Youthful glossy purple with a raspberry rim. Smooth and complex on the nose; leafy blackcurrant, spicy cloves and rich woody game birds. Silky smooth on the palate, lovely weight and balance with sweet black berry fruits, cooked bacon and salty black olives. Elegant.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
