Astonishingly good. This is a Chianti?? The favorite at our (blind) Tuscan tasting. The smooth complexity and balance had everyone thinking Super Tuscan.

Drink Dates 2010-2015

What a super wine. The aroma immediately drifts upward when you open this wine...of ripe berries and fruit. And the taste with ripe tannins and full bodied. Enjoyed with Pasta Bolognese.

A nice smooth chianti, a bit dry but the vanilla, earth, and spice really showed up. The fruit was dark ruby and with a bit of a cola note on the finish.

Garnet in hue. Clean aromas of dusty earth, licorice and deep red fruit. Dry substantial palate of stewed cherries, loamy soil and mushroom. Surprisingly big and deep flavors from this classico that is certainly styled more internationally. WS top 10?.....I can't see it.

Deep dark red with sharp purple edge. Shows nice legs. Terrific old school nose with classic earthy and dark berry scents. Full bodied, a bit soft, with a nice finish - hint of pepper. Very nice balance - excellent bottle of chianti - especially for the price.
