Dark and powerful, this young wine shows rich flavors of black cherry and red plum. I found this to be too tight and tannic for enjoyment now, but it has plenty of stuffing to last in the long haul.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
