Consumed a magnum @ La Paella with HJ and S. Very solid Cabernet with sweet oak and ripe fruit flavor. Smell got sweeter and sweeter through the night. Not particularly complex, but very balanced and integrated with a nice grippy finish. I really enjoyed it.

Takes about 2 hours to open up in a decanter. Underlying cassis and cocoa with refined blackfruit. Smooth tannins that will give this wine structure for another 10 years.

One dimensional and flat. Hints of oak and sandlewood with a smooth finish as you might expect with a wine with only 13.5% alcohol.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
