Gorgeous wine! Pride never disappoints. Great fruit concentration with perfect balance of tannin and acidity. Super concentrated yet elegant.

Absolutely beautiful bottle of wine. Based on advice from another Vincellar user, opened it 4 hours before consumption. Remarkable, on the palate black fruit including blackberry, black currant; coffee, chocolate, nicely balanced tannins, long finish. 2007 might have been the season for California Cabs, but this 2006 shines

I opened this too early but it was showing great after a couple hours. Bright young cherry and cedar with a caramel note on the finish. The mountain fruit has nice complexity that has hints of mint and rich slate. Tannins very present but the finish was still incredibly smooth. A bit pricey but a great cabernet that will show well for any event.

$66. 88% Cab, 10% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. Good nose, solid fruit, sweetness. Nice roundness on palate, good amount of tannin (not too overbearing but there), solid fruit. Short to medium pleasant finish.

Nice Pride cab with good mountain fruit components and the currant and licorice notes. Not the best Pride but still better than most cabs on the market.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
