Not much aroma. But a really good body of briary blueberries. Medium to full bodied. Not a long finish.

This vintage is fruit forward, elegant and very refined. The nose had aromas of cedar plank, crushed raspberries, mild spice and white pepper. The mid-palate is full of cherry, oak and beet root. It's finish is medium to long with rich oak/ earth tones. Overall this was nicer than the 2007 vintage!

Fantasticly complex Zin blend. Fruity like a Zin but complex due to the other Bordeaux varietals blended. I've tried the 2005 and 2006, and the 2005 scores better, but this is still a fabulous wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
