Red Pinot Noir
Producer Notes

Excellent. Firm structure, balanced, nice acidity, black cherry. Still with some years left.

chocolate cherries and licorice on the nose with a similiar flavor profile including rhubarb, lacquer, baking spices, and green tea. The fruit was not as vibrant as younger vintages. Nice wine.

I was happy with this although I wouldn't rate it "exceptional". Ruby in color. Low rim variation. Medium legs. Blackberry and Red Currant in the nose, with a nice full flavor with hints of blackberry and a light black pepper. Medium bodied. Smooth texture. Medium finish.

Really lovely stuff - absolutely beautiful ruby color, great expressive nose soaked with black cherry - excellent polished wine with soft and graceful mouthfeel - held up just as well on Day 2

NR alcohol Aromas: smooth cherry with blackberry and spice Palate: blackberry, dark cherry, with a polished mid-palate with hints of bark Impression: a very well put together young pinot from the talented Michael Browne, I look forward to trying the designates soon

Color: Deep Ruby Red, perfect color Nose: Wild ripe strawberry, cherry, blackberry and cocoa Palate: Same as nose, additional notes of earthy mushroom, and a touch savory, elegant, long velvety finish. Lacking in tannin and acidity that hint at a short drinking window.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
