Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.

Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyer’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

A little underwhelming. Did not have the same bite and depth of flavor I expect from this wine and house. Maybe it was an off bottle. It was not bad but certainly fell short. Of my expectations.

Opened a 2006 Vieux-Telegraphe CDP Blanc this week. It was nice, opened up with some air, definitely better with food than on its own. Nice balance of fruit and minerality.

Decanted 2 hours. Was disappointed until we started eating - MUCH better with food (Sharp cheese then grilled Shrimp) than as an aperitif. Might be too early - more aging might help.

nose of crisp green apple with minerality and honey. Not an opulent CDP white by any strech. Opened up after an hour but still a bit sudbued and a little unidimentional.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
