Deep dark ruby red, gorgeous nose of ripe cherries and blueberries, smooth well integrated tannins with a almost 60 second finish. Even better the next day when the tannins smoothed out beautifully. A really nice wine for the money.

Just a brief comment to once again indicate the spectacular balance, mouth-watering, fruit-forward and elegant structure of the 2006 Clio.

Dark ruby red. Luscious sweet berries on the nose with soft burning incense aromas. Intense sweet fruit on the palate; powerful rich blueberry, blackcurrant and creamy vanilla, backed with soft spicy oak.

Just one of my absolute favorite wines. I will be buying a case every vintage of this bruiser. Very dark black fruit and oak bomb with 15.5% alcohol that is completely integrated. Very young wine with very firm sharp tannins and loads of jammy fruit. Awesome wine, buy if you can.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
