Whow! If you want a wine that explodes in your mouth, is full of fruit and overpowering with floral scents, this is it.

Excellent expression of B2K terroir. Great mid palate complexity with long finish.

The winery ships this CA Cab in a very heavy glass bottle wrapped in tissue, forecasting a serious and very big experience. Indeed. Don't come looking for a signature of terroir from this famous vineyard. That's not what this wine shows. Rather, it delivers a sort of state-of-the-art expression of wine-making. Great fruit, to be sure -- black cherry, predominately. But it was very much an of-the-barrel, high-profile experience -- cedar, vanilla, creamy, thick and voluptuous, high glycerin. Long, coating, and extracted finish. 14.6% alcohol, ripped like a bodybuilder. It's not "tight" like a tannic Bordeaux. Yet, perhaps time will allow more integration. Or, maybe that's not the point. Drink now and experience a delicious, massive Cab. And at $95, a bargain compared to other Napa trophies.
