Dark crimson, very thick wine! Raspberry nose, very flavoured. Taste is sweet, with grape notes, good tannins, medium bodied and slightly evanescent in the end. Very nice! May need another year before trying again and see how it evolves.

colour: dark garnet. fade to rim. nose: red fruit. young. strawberry and cherry. quite heady. Taste: good depth. red grape. easy to drink. this wine has good ageing potential over the next 6-8 years but drinks well now. a testament to the accessability of the 2005 vintage. very good value for money. stock up!

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
