Cork showed small signs of seepage, but the wine was still in great shape. Tannins are beginning to fade, so I'd say drink it now rather than waiting another five years.

This wine continues to impress. Easily a 94 point wine. Massive caramel leather and cherry greets the nose. Medium body with slight tannins grace the palate. Long finish. Onto my 2007's

Deep dark red, beautiful nose of chocolate, dark berries and cassis, beautiful soft well integrated tannins with a long 40 to 50 second finish. 92 pts.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
