Had with rotissiere leg of lamb on easter - very smooth tannins almost creamy chocolate. Would not age much longer, its at its peak or slighlty past.

Plums and dark berries in the palate. Very tannic, however, they soften with time in a decanter or glass. After a while, very pleasant velvety tannins. Got a hint of spice and sweet tobacco.

Aromatic, nice finish, full body, not in your face. Old World styling in a California cab. Noticeable tannins. Should age well.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
