Chateau Cheval Blanc, a 1er Grand Cru Classe (A), is the most renowned and sought-after producer in the St. Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. The estate's 37 hectares yield primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Consumed @ THE VOL 94 in Pasadena. Strong initial flavor, but lacking something in the middle. Tastes the same caliber as cheaper $30 Bordeaux wines. Will never buy Petit Cheval again considering its inflated price.

This wine is getting really good although the RP rating is not terrific. We like it a lot!
