We had this with grilled steak on 10/17/08. It had aromas of cherry, raspberry, cola and spice. It was very spicy on the palate...cherry, raspberry, licorice, pepper and spice flavors. It was also a little tannic and fairly dry. This was fairly decent, but certainly not up to the hype (top recommended US wine - You've got to be kidding!).
