Popped and poured. Medium plus color, no hint of age; still has a deep burgundy color of a 2-3 year old wine. Nose has a fairly deep pitch with some oak undertones adding a bit of sweetness to the aromas of primary fruits, mostly dark cherry. On the palate lots of structure and solid mouth-feel, typical of the big 2005 vintage; moderate finish. Still young, I'd wait at least another 2 years for this wine to hit the start of its drinking window ... for my taste anyway; though very enjoyable right now!
