Glassy ruby. Filtered. Cherry and plum. Didn't find much soul in this one. Was hoping for more for some reason. Drinkable now, so go to town.

A rush of garrigue, wild spices, sweet date, dark plum, blackberry paste and iron flood the senses in this deep ruby colored ?05. Surprisingly elegant in the mouth, with a racy, mineral tinged flow of sweet fruits, w/ the slightest hint of brett dancing their way to the finish. This should evolve nicely over the midterm and has a silky, medium bodied personality that is extremely approachable for the vintage

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
