Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

This took a few days to open up but showed beautifully on day three. It showed violets, crushed rock, and leather notes followed by a dark cherry muscular palate. Not bad

Typical left bank, still very firm and tannic but starting to see the wine after an hour in the glass/decanter.

I expected a lot of this wine, but in the end I found it to be a good drinkable Medoc, ready now..... 90 points only.

Can tell it will be a good wine, but regretted opening as soon as I tasted it. As backwards as any wine I've had this year. Fruit well-hidden by masculine tannins. Tasted over two nights. Must say that it was much better on second night. Good wine, but don't think worth the $45 I paid.

Classic Rolland, excellent balance, should be long lived, 6 to 8 hours of decanting enhance the enjoyment

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
