This deep, purple-red wine had an aromatic nose in which multi-faceted notes of black cherry, geranium, persimmon, pomegranate, cinnamon, black pepper, brioche toast, tea, vanilla, and spearmint could be envisioned. It tasted of black cherry, blackberry, and vanilla. Easy drinking, with balanced soft tannin and lively acidity, this wine was a fine accompaniment to grilled sausages.
