Decanted for about 45 minutes and then drunk over another 90 minutes. Better than previous bottle. Cherry, chocolate, anise and menthol flavors. Medium weight and balanced, with well integrated tannins and a long finish.

Absolutely exquisite wine. Really brings together all of the varietals of a great Bordeaux blend. A bit tip toey on its weight but that's just the Cab Franc talking. Really pays off mid way through the bottle.

Deep ruby red a beautiful nose of huge berries and earthy tones, mid palate of thick juicy fruit with soft tannins well integrated and a 45 plus second finish. Drinking well now will age well for another 10 years.

Strong vintage in an all-time Cali superstar. Massive body but with tone and balance. Big fruits, spice, and eucalytus. Sir Peter comes through again.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
