Powerfull! intense aroma of leather, red currant, asian spices as much that remind me some top chilean Shiraz. Neverthless has the earthy that makes cabernet from chile famous. Stills needs some time to soften the powerfull tannins, I guess 1-2 yrs shall start to drink more joyfull.

This is my second note on this wine. The first bottle had a slightly funky/barnyard nose. The second bottle (same source, two months later) had no funk. Profound fruit and herbal aroma. I really liked the way this one smelled. Current, chocolate, olive and spice. A little heat on the finish. Plenty of acidity. 14.5% alcohol.

A bit disappointing in light of the hype. The wine simmered with coffee grinds and blackberries and complex herbal notes but never really seemed to open up and present itself. Perhaps some more time to open, which we'll find out the next go round. Still a very respectable wine which I will be more than happy to give a second shot at glory to.

This is still very tight, but the tannins that lead the way now are sleek and refined, and should easily meld into the huge core of roasted chestnut, black currant paste, warm fig and tar. Has a long coffee-and-loam-tinged finish.
