Great wine for the price. I got it for under $20 although I think it retails for $30. Deep, dark color. A strong nose of fruit, a little spice and a whiff of leather. Medium body with fruit and some tannins to chew on. It should keep or even improve for a few more years.

Every bit as good as billed. Drinking so well right away on PnP - delicious mouth filling dark berries and coffee, extremely smooth, oak was so well integrated. Aromatics were tremendous. Completely on board with the Galloni rating.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
