This was pure Brunello through and through by the time it opened up. We had this opened and decanted right as we sat down. Had that classic red garnet hue, great structure, beautiful well integrated fruit and oak. A big wine with lots of cherries and plum. Closer to the end of the meal this really turned into something special.
