Delicious Rioja. Ripe extracted black raspberry fruit soaked in black cherry liqueur. Notes of pine resin add complexity. Fine grained tannins nicely integrated even though noticeable grip. Well-balanced with good, lengthy finish. Age suiting this nicely!

Medium-bodied, but big flavor. Lots of spice, tobacco, cherry and leather.

After 30 minutes started to open, after an hour gorgeous, but still needs a little more time.

Deep color and flavor, principally black cherries with some tobacco and spice. A nice balanced wine with a fairly complex structure that is not overbearing at any point.

Deep cherry color, berries & spice, cigar box and leather. Medium-bodied+, well-balanced, enjoyable finish. Amazing for just under $12. I will always want some on hand.

Smooth, pure, dark...very dark. Thick legs, huge black cherry almost cola-like flavors with tobacco and leather. Has a dusty quality that unfolds well. Acid is nicely in check. Really nice stuff without being showy.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
