Drink Dates 2011+

colour: dark garnet. youthful. watery rim. nose: red berry and vanilla. touch of coconut. very pleasant. taste: oak. grape. blackberry. layered. quite tannic. needs 5+ years to resolve the acidity and tannin levels. finely made wine. buttery and a bit short on the palate. this wine will undoubtedly improve and should not be touched for at least 3 years.

Spicy wine with berry flavors. A good note of earth in this wine that I didn't notice in the first bottle.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
