Please give t a good decant! This is big, dense and tannic. It's so big and powerful that its being open from one day to ther and stills drinking beautiful!! What a fruit core :) Start to enjoy this classic Toro wine that seems more from RBD than toro. A masterpiece from 'Mano Santa'

Again a Maurodos proves to be something very special and tonight was no exception. Glass staining dark violet with slow legs, the nose was gorgeous in a very subtle and elegant way, with dark berries, cocoa and chalk. The first sip was almost perplexing as it showed very little front palate but exploded on mid & back palate with tannin wrapped lavender and dark berries and lots of acid. After a decant and time in glass it smoothed out considerably and it delivered across the palate and was so elegant despite its power and strength against a steak. This was not the fruity high alcohol mess these wines get a rap for, nor over oaked. It had everything I could want in a wine where you drink it and sigh in relief and delight that all is well.

Fantastic!! Had it with Corbin - ordered steak tartar and some other stuff from Odeon. the wine was complex and long - really good - worth getting again.

Modern style dry Spanish red. Toasted oak, medium body, light finish. Given the acidity, it is best paired with food

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
