It is hard to believe that the 2004 vintage will be the first Marston wine to ever appear at Vinfolio. Some of their production has been freed up to allow us a small allocation. The wines over the next few vintages will be some of the most impressive in memory from this 40-acre estate located on the back side of Spring Mountain. This is yet another Philippe Melka wine crafted in his inimitable world-class style. <br><br/> Shows a mint and herb nose with polished, loamy fruit on the palate. Beautifully formed violet and black fruit flavors intertwined with firm acidity create an indelible expression of mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
