Beautiful purple hue that hints at the intensity of the aromatics - wild plum, black cherry and blackberry bramble laced with a bit of spice, mint and dried florals. The mouth has a plush entry of cherry and black plum and is immediately balanced by rounded acidity and a more than adequate depth and concentration. Holds its own without being overwrought; a "classic" California style. Nice black currant and edge of dusty tannins in the finish, which is straightforward and precise.
