The 2004 Syrah Eddie's Patch (400 cases) shares an opaque purple color in addition to notes of incense, blackberries, truffles, and spicy wood. It is a huge, dense, cool climate Syrah with a Pinot Noir-like sassafras character. Drink this big, earthy, terroir-driven effort over the next 10-12 years.
