Earthy and dusty. Somewhat bland. I love Altesino wines but this was disappointing.

Clear deep ruby in color with some reddening at the rim. Clean developing bouquets of red and blue fruits and loamy soil. Dry palate of plum, and blackberry with hints of cassis. Full bodied that was rather closed on opening but became very expressive with airing. Enjoyable

Excellent. Will definitely improve over next five years. Big flavors and bouquet.
