Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

The source for the Three Rings Reserve Shiraz is from 100 year old vines in the Barossa Valley, made by the renowned winemaker, Chris Ringland. Deeply structured with rich aromas and lingering flavors of chocolate and blackberry sauce drizzled over warm gingerbread with vanilla ice-cream. It is ripe, plush and truly old vine Barossa Shiraz. Drink this impressive follow up to the regular bottling over the next 10 years. 93-94 Points

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
