Felt like this was drunk quickly but really reminded me of Super Tuscans I've had - could really imagine those sun-baked grapes and ripeness as a result. Red fruits and meatiness. A real solid experience for me of South African wine, especially something with a bit of age on it. Probably with a ways to go.

This was my second bottle of this wine(the first, at a So. African restaurant in London was a little better -- 90+) and it is probably the best South African wine I've tried. Big, ripe nose screams Napa, but the taste is more restrained and Bordeaux-like with a slightly herbal undertone that seems distinct to South African wines.
