Fantastic penetrating cherry, licorice nose - looked like a cloudy Pinot Noir as others have said and I would not have picked this as Grenache but I certainly get Dettori's "non-interventionist" style. In the glass this started out light but seemed to pick up body over the course of 30-45 minutes with cherry dominant. Lots of acid and spiciness - certainly a wine for food. Finish was very lengthy. What an interesting wine. Enjoyed my first foray into Dettori's Cannonau.
