Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.

Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Great bottle, little less stuffing than the last one, coming into peak. Great bordeaux QPR.

Harsh tannins and burnt cherries were my impressions for the first ~2 hours. After that the wine really opened up, the tannins soften and we were left with soft berry fruits, very nice. But clearly needs plenty of time to breath.

with grilled rib-eye steak and roasted potatoes. Long finale. Tannins are still strong (year of the "canicule"). A very good wine, that can be cellared another 5 years easily.

Inky garnet color. Strong graphite and oak on the nose. Opening is full bodied lush dark fruit, some spice, pepper and oak. Full mouth feel with long finish but not as tight as I suspected tannins/acid have diminished producing a hedonistic fruity, oaky gem. 55% Cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot 5% cabernet franc. Average age of vines 30 years.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
