Beautiful and classical Boyle for this real good value chateau in saint Julien. No heat seems in this 2003 only claasic bordeaux elements, ripe fruit of red currant, black currant, very luch and well balance. This is mature and with such delicious soft tannins. Medium to full body...quality here is at 3th growth level. Excellent value.
Shows the heat of the vintage, with plenty of ripe fruit, a round mouthfeel, ample acidity and a hint of brett on the finish, which should become more pronounced with bottle age. All of those elements were in balance, and this bottle reflected St. Julien typicity. I do not know if this producer is Cru Classe, but if it isn't it should be.
