Lackluster in aroma and flavor. Red cherry, light oak, smooth tannins and not much else. Very singular and not worth the price.

Drinking well, likely at its peak. Good fruit with slight oak flavors. The weight was a little lighter than expected. Color was good.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
