Good paring with red meats. One of the more solid vintages to date.

Rich silky full bodied Shiraz, just what I would expect from this wine. Blackberry and Black Cherry on the nose. Well balanced oak and bit of a earthyness on the palate. Well rounded tannins. An outstanding example of a classic Australian Shiraz!

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
