Kelly Fleming's 12-acre vineyard is tucked far back at the end of Pickett Road with the Calistoga Palisades looming over its shoulder. The vines are farmed organically under the management of Jim Barbour, keeping with Fleming's desire to promote environmental stewardship on her 300-acre property. From the Celia Masyczek tasting: Dark in color with an intense nose showing creamy black fruits and spice. Lush and polished on the palate the mouth feel is balanced with nice acidity.

Stunningly good. Fruit forward. Almost Australian in its "fruitbomb-ness."
