Aromas of stewed blackberry, plum skin, barnyard earth, gooseberry, anise, dark chocolate and a touch of boot polish. A touch thin on the palate which emphasizes gravelly earth. The medium-length finish is surprisingly fresh and red-fruited, along with pulverized stone, bandaid and more gooseberry
