Spectacular bottle of wine. Juice and more juice. Felt like a big berry bomb. Plum, cherry and hints of cassis. Really a terrific wine, a little pricy though....

Drink Dates 2010-2025

Inky with Dark Ruby lip. Crushed berries and earth on the nose. Smooth as silk on the palate, full rich and velvety, cocoa, black fruit and subtle spice. Lasted 50 seconds or longer.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
