Consistent notes. Light golden yellow color; lovely nose of spicy fruit and a hint of oak; fat & rich on the palate; very good grip & depth; concentrated & complete; very long finish; a lovely Burgundy for drinking over the next couple of years.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
