Popped and poured. Still medium-dark cherry color; not much hint of its age from looking in the glass. Not giving up much on the nose, perhaps some black cherry. Quite a bit of grip on the palate as the tannins are showing themselves. Still seems to have some life ahead, but didn't have the chance to revisit a few hours after opening.
