This is the first vintage with David Ramey on board consulting with Jennifer. The wines have magically added complexity, mostly in the aromatics; a delicate perfume of jasmine and nectarine blossoms. The dynamic palate focuses this wine remarkably well showing black currant, boysenberry, and perfectly tender black fig. I expect the rating on this wine to possibly increase when tasted closer to release.

Herbal and violet aroma. Currant, herb and spice. Very austere wine with a long, dry finish.
