Source Vinfolio

On the heels of the debut 2001 (a Top 20 wine of 2004), comes another beauty from Frank and Julie Husic. Between Vineyard Manager Jim Barbour, and winemaker Celia Masyczek (a 2004 Vinfolio "Winemaker to Watch"), there is nothing to improve. An hour after opening, the wine takes on a supple, smooth dimension showing exotic multi-scented perfume of spices and cherry, followed by flavors of white chocolate, black and red raspberry, and pomegranate. 600 cases produced.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
