Freemark Abbey crafts approximately 40,000 cases of wine each year. Currently they produce three Cabernets, including a Napa Valley Cabernet and the vineyard designated Bosche and Sycamore Cabernets. Clean ruby color. Bouquet is full of oak, cherries and other red fruit. Medium bodied, fully mature; not the most concentrated wine but very silky texture. I don't think this will be one of the longest lived wines but drinking very nicely right now.

Crisp, clean with good fruit (cherry) and oak. Strong without being overbearing. Quite fine but they will likely kill the wine bottling it.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
